About Us
YWAM JOCUM Marromeu is a Christian nonprofit working with the local communities in Marromeu, Nensa, and the Zambezi Delta providing community development, education, healthcare, agriculture, evangelism and discipleship.

Vision
Reach the unreached people living on the shores of the mighty Zambezi River with the good news of the gospel through holistic evangelism.
Base Leader
Elisa Manhisse is from Maputo, Mozambique. She did her DTS in 1996, and after graduation joined YWAM Dondo before joining YWAM Marromeu in 2005. She became base leader in 2016 and has dedicated her life to serving those in need.

Her dream is to one day see people from the Zambezi Delta serve God in other nations.

Team
Our team consists of 18 staff members eager to share the gospel with others. We believe teamwork is an essential part of any organization and strive to help each other out with all of our ministries. Our staff reside in Nensa, Marromeu, and the Zambezi Delta. All staff must raise their own financial support.
We also employ 6 teachers at the primary school and 6 workers to maintain the Nensa base.
