Esperança No Senhor

Esperança No Senhor or in English, Hope in the Lord, is the first private school offered in the district of Marromeu. The preschool opened in 2015 and each year an additional grade has been added. 

Preschool

We offer years 1 & 2 preschool to 70 children. This is the first and only preschool offered in the area and is taught in Portuguese and Sena.

Classes are half days and include a meal every day after lessons. Daily activities include songs, playing, Bible stories, crafts, learning the alphabet, how to write, and other basic skills.

Primary School

Once the children have graduated from preschool they have the opportunity to attend primary school. Currently we have 350 children in grades 1-8.

The children are taught Mozambican curriculum, but with a Godly influence. Twice a week they receive a meal after classes.
